Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does your deposit work? Children's Party Productions keeps your credit card on file for the deposit (no funds are billed to the card).  The card does not get billed unless you do not return the costume, there is damage or late fees.  Costumes are very expensive and if someone decides not to return, damage or return the costume(s) late and we need to replace, repair the costume, this is when we would bill your deposit.  If you return the costume in the same condition as it was sent on the return date of your signed agreement then there is no charges on the credit card.

2.When can I expect to receive the costume? We guarantee the costume to arrive one to two days before your party date. If we are able to ship the costume out early we will but cannot guarantee early shipment.

3. How do we ship the costume back? You need to put the costume back in the same box the costume came in unless the box is completely damaged and in that case we ask that you contact us. Tape it up and FedEx will be by to pick it up. No need for labels or to contact them we will have it all arranged for you.  If you are not going to be there just leave the box were FedEx dropped it to you by 9 am.

4. Can I use my own shipping account? Yes! If your shipping account rates are cheaper and you like to use your shipping carrier that is fine. We ask that you supply us your acct # and be sure when shipping that you insure the costume(s) with the carrier. There will be an additional fee for our packaging.

5. What size will the costume fit? Most of our costumes are made to fit an adult between 5'4" - 6'2". That does not mean that someone 5'2" cannot wear the costume it would just be a little longer on them.

6. Do we need to clean the costumes? No! Children's Party Productions cleans each and every costume when they come back from a rental. We use special process to clean the bodies and the heads of the costumes.

7. Do your costumes look like the ones on the website? Yes! We are very picky about the quality of our costumes. We have the best looking costumes in the industry. You will be very pleased with the costume.

8. Can we use a debit card?  Yes! You can use a debit card.

9. Where are you located and do you ship the costume to my state? We are located in Connecticut and we ship nationwide to all 48 U.S. States.

10. Do you ship outside the United States? Sorry, we do not ship outside the U.S. or Alaska and Hawaii due to customs and the very high cost of shipping.

11. Do you give a discount if we rent more than one costume? Yes! We will take $15 off each additional rental over two rentals to the same address.

12. Is "Shipping" a revenue source for the Company?
We don't try to make extra on your shipping charges. What we pay for box, tape and to ship the product to you is what you pay. 
We have a great working relationship and a great discount with Federal Express.
